This tool edits the standard document properties stored in a PDF's Info dictionary — Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Producer, and Creator, the fields most PDF readers show under "Document Properties." It does not touch other places metadata can hide: an embedded XMP metadata packet (many tools — Adobe apps, Word, InDesign — duplicate these same fields into an XML stream this editor doesn't read or modify), embedded fonts' own internal metadata, or prior revision history that can remain inside an incrementally-updated PDF. Treat "Strip All Metadata" as clearing the standard properties, not a guarantee that every trace of authorship is gone from the file.
